About

Why hello,

Such a pleasure to meet you. My name is Stephanie, but you can call me Steph. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

+ I originally hail from the city of Rancho Cucamonga (yep, that’s its real name) in the gloriously sunny So Cal, but have spent almost the past 10 years calling New England home.

+  I love the city, the sun (tough one given where I’ve chosen to live), and almost anything I can do while still holding a cup of coffee.

+ I work here and have the funnest and quirkiest of jobs
(more on that later I promise).

+ I’d like to think I have big dreams.
Some days those big dreams are about  things like world change, eradicating poverty and peace in the Middle East (okay, really peace anywhere would be great).
Other days those big dreams are about peace…of mind and making it through my day with hopefully minimal difficulty in deciding what to wear (ladies, I know you know what I’m talking about) and consuming some form of a vegetable.

+ I’m a huge fan cycling, dancing, cooking, oh and listening to some top 40 tunes…as often as I can.

+ In my dream world, I’d traipse through Florence and meet you at a cafe for a cappuccino (say around 2 o clock.)   Instead though, in the meantime I’ll have to
meet you here
and do sincerely hope you’ll return as often as possible.

Pleasure to meet you, and
thanks again for stopping by The Tortoise & the Hair,

Steph

  1. Great post on the Grammys. I read the link you gave and now am no longer confused by the whole record, album, song of the year! I enjoyed the show( except the Roman fiasco).
